Tema, July 13, GNA -- Professor Agyemang Badu Akorsah, a leading
member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has urged Ghanaians to vote for
the party to enable it continue the good works of the late Osagyefo Dr Kwame
Nkrumah, founder of the party. Prof Akorsah, who was addressing party faithful at a primary held at the
Tema West constituency, said "the salvation of this country lies only in the hands
of the CPP". He said when the party is voted into office it would train the youth to be
punctual, patriotic and to love the country through the rebirth of the Young Pioneer
Movement and the Workers' Brigade. Prof Akorsah, who contested the party's flagbearership but lost to Dr
Paa Kwesi Nduom, said the CPP has more records to his credit than any political
party in the country. "All the good things Ghanaians have in their country were initiated by the CPP,"
he said.
