The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Adams insists Mamprugu must not relent in its efforts to bring back its lost son, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who has veered off his lane in the rightful party and joined the wrong one.
He contends Bawumia who is the vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), risk being infested with the infamous ‘all die be die’ if he is allowed to continuously stay with a party he has no roots.
To this end, he urged residents of Mamprugu to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama in order to change the course of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who has gone astray.
“Let us help our brother come back home, he is missing and if he stays there too long he will be infested with all die be die. He has just lost his way small, lets help to bring him back home. The only way to bring our brother Bawumia home is to vote massively for JM and Abuba as MP for Walewale”, he emphasized.
Addressing party supporters in Walewale, Mr. Adams described the NDC as a blessed party that welcomes onboard everyone provided such a person buys to its ideals.
He observed that the NPP will not win the December 7 polls and therefore voters will be wasting their ballots if they go ahead to vote Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo because it is evident they are losing the election.
“Take a message to those who are not here today. Do not waste your vote….do not vote for Nana Addo and the NPP because they will not win. Everywhere we go they are saying JM Toaso. Everywhere we go the feeling is the same’, he said.
Mr Kofi Adams disclosed that the appointment of the NDC parliamentary candidate as the northern regional minister is a test case for residents to show they are prepared for greater things urging them not to disappoint President John Dramani Mahama who has the Mamprugu Traditional area at heart.
