The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Ghanaians to vote out the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to serve as a strong signal to politicians in Ghana not to take the country for granted.

According to the NDC, the hardship the NPP government has taken the people through with its bad policies is unprecedented, and Ghanaians must not forgive them.

Thus, The NDC appealed to Ghanaians to vote for them on December 7 to restore their hopes, considering the good policies that John Mahama will implement in his next government.

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson, in an interview on Otec FM's afternoon political show, 'Dwabrem' hosted by Dr Cash, on Monday, November 25, 2024, said that the NPP has messed up with the economy and must be punished by voting them out.

"By voting the NPP out of office, Ghanaians would be sending a strong message to politicians that they will no longer tolerate poor governance and unfulfilled promises," Ato Forson said.

The NPP government has taken the people of this country for granted; they have implemented bad policies that have affected the lives of the people, like E-Levy, emissions, and betting taxes, among others," he emphasized.

Cassiel Ato Forson, also the Member of Parliament for Ajumako-Enyam-Essiam in the Central region, promised to bring about change and improvement if voted into power.

He clarified, "We believe that the NPP has had its chance to prove itself, but they have woefully mismanaged the economy, and it's now time for the NDC to fix the mess the NPP has created.".

"The NDC's message is clear: it's time for a change," Hon Cassiel Ato Forson echoed.
