The NedTec Inc. online-sponsored prediction was the first of several to be held by Ghanaweb this year. The contest began in early January, and was launched in conjunction with the start of Africa nation football competition Mali.
The idea of the competition was to predict results, group winners and eventual champions of some selected matches at the African nation cup. This was the first of a series of online competitions planned by GhanaHomePage for the year 2002.
