WR minister inaugurates Poase Bridge

Ebenezer Kwaku Teye Addo, Western Regional Minister, on Tuesday inaugurated the rehabilitated Poase bridge, on the Sekondi-Takoradi main road.

The project was executed by the Urban Roads Department with support from Chinese contractors.

Mr Addo said government was determined to distribute the national cake equitably, and advised the people to monitor the use of the bridge.

He asked the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly to ensure regular maintenance of the bridge so that it could last long.

Captain (rtd) Anthony Cudjoe, the Metropolitan Chief Executive, said the government would remain focus on its “Better Ghana Agenda” despite the current socio-economic challenges.
