Wa, June 19, GNA - Motorbike riders kept other road users spellbound in the Wa Municipality by almost taking over all the principal streets as a way of celebrating the Victory of the Black Stars. They tooted the horns of their motorbikes with dexterity while riding, a feat which scared other road users from moving on the main streets and also brought a lot more on the streets to watch their riding skills. The display, which lasted for about one hour after the end of the match between Ghana and the Czech Republic also showcased the number of motorbikes in the Municipality.

Others who also jubilated in their homes and other residential areas were seen waiving miniature flags of Ghana.

Messrs Thomas Kapiri and Godfred Adda, past students of the University of Ghana who were both Vandals told the GNA in an interview that they were going to celebrate in the Vandals way throughout the night.

"For Ghana, we have won our World Cup by beating the Czech Republic who are currently ranked second in the FIFA ratings." Thomas concluded. Most of the people who spoke to the GNA were convinced that the Black Stars could beat the USA to proceed to the next stage of competition.
