Former Executive Secretary to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Nana Asante Bediatuo, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Vida Ago Asante, during her burial in Akyem Kyebi.

The respected legal practitioner honoured his mother’s memory in a deeply emotional moment witnessed by family, friends, and sympathisers on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

The funeral was attended by Akufo-Addo, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and other New Patriotic Party stalwarts.

Vida Ago Asante, who was also the mother of Laurette Korkor Asante, the Member of Parliament for Atiwa West, passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in January 2026.
