The pandemonium which occurred at the Accra International Conference Centre (Dome) during the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has undoubtedly received wide condemnation with many seeking answers to why reggae/dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy marred the occasion.
There was complete chaos shortly after Stonebwoy was announced winner of ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’, making him the only artistes to win the category five times in a roll.
Just when Stonebwoy was about to deliver his acceptance speech, Shatta Wale and his entourage started walking to him on stage.
A fight ensued after Shatta Wale’s team ignored signals from Stonebwoy’s camp not to mount the stage. In the heat of the moment, Stonebwoy pulled out a gun.
