Medeama SC extended their unbeaten run against Asante Kotoko after beating them by a lone goal in their midweek encounter at the Akoon Community Park on matchday 4 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The Mauve and Yellows maintained their unbeaten start to the season after defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu of Asante Kotoko was penalized for bringing down Medeama's Agyeman Boateng in the penalty box.
Prince Opoku-Agyemang stepped up to grab the match-winner after converting the penalty inside the first three minutes of the clash in Tarkwa.
It's was the fourth successive win for the Mauve and Yellows against the Porcupine Warriors in the mining town but the big talking point after the game was whether or not the referee got the penalty call right.
In this video, we bring you the highlights of the game between Medeama and Asante Kotoko and the penalty which some Kotoko fans believe was ‘contentious’.
