The nurses frantically moving the patients on their beds
Over the years, rain has been a major factor in exposing Ghana's infrastructure inefficiencies.
In a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb, nurses at the Nsawam Government Hospital are seen frantically making efforts to relocate patients to prevent them from being battered by a leaking roof during a rainstorm.
The video shows the roof of the ward leaking profusely, with water gushing in, while some nurses push a bed with a patient on it to safety.
It is not known when exactly the video was taken; however, the recent rains have highlighted several challenges in Ghana's infrastructure.
Incidents of flooding, resulting in deaths and loss of property in some instances, have been recorded in various parts of the country following the onset of the rainy season.
