Mr Stephen Kwame Sarpong, Secretary of Onarkwaasi-Asabrekrom Town Development Committee, said it is feared that guinea worm may re-surface in the area as a result of the water problem.

He appealed to the District Assembly and the Akropong Water Aid, an NGO to sink boreholes in the area.
