Mr. K.B Asante says Ghanaians must put aside their ethnic and political differences and unite to develop the nation.
His comment comes on the heels of President Mahama’s Independence Day speech in which he called on Ghanaians to refocus their energy towards solving the country’s problems instead of standing aloof complaining.
Mr. Asante added that the country cannot attain the expected level of development with the current individualistic lifestyle of Ghanaians.
What we have to do is to make sure that Ghanaians stay here to work, the bright ones must stay here to work.
“Ghanaians tend to be a bit individualistic, they want to do things themselves…we are not very good at working together…so we don’t have enterprises because of that character of ours but we can overcome it”.
