Management and staff of Justorch Pub, located at Kwabenya in Accra, have denied allegations of murdering Ghanaian lady, Lydia Ama Serwa, popularly known for her snaps as DC Queen.

They pointed out that the said publication noted that the friends of the deceased alleged that Lydia Ama Serwa was last seen at Justorch Pub in Kwabenya where they were having fun.

In that report, the friends stated that while taking some bottles of drinks at a table, Lydia Ama Serwa received a call on her mobile phone after which she left the place, presumably to meet with the caller. And that was the last time they saw her.

In a statement signed and issued yesterday by the Director of Justorch Pub, Mr. George D. Tortchar, and copied to Today in Accra, management of the company noted that the Ghana Police Service has confirmed that the body of the lady was found with her hands and legs tied together.

According to the statement, the police also denied speculations by friends on Facebook and some other online portals like celebrities.com that parts of her body were removed for rituals.

Justorch Pub in the statement stressed that “it wants the public to know that no such thing happened at Justorch Pub or anywhere around its premises and does not know the deceased anywhere.”

The company expressed amazement at how some people were trying hard to tag the pub to this gruesome murder.

The statement asserted that Justorch Pub continues to be a decent place for Ghanaians to patronise for relaxation.

“This is a place where good foods, drinks and good music make families and friends feel at home, the statement said, calling on Ghanaians to disregard the allegations.
