One of the lawyers for the private investigative body, Tiger Eye PI, Mr. Sammy Darko, has said the team is devastated by the murder of one of its investigators, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
Mr. Darko, however, said the murder will not dampen the spirit of the team in exposing corruption and wrongdoing.
Ahmed was killed by unidentified men on Wednesday night. He was shot in the chest and neck at Madina in Accra while driving home.
According to his colleagues, nothing was stolen from him. The body has been taken to the Police Hospital morgue.
Mr. Darko told Accra100.5FM’s Ghana Yensom hosted by Kwabena Prah Jnr (The Don) on Thursday, 17 January 2019 that: “To be frank with you, this matter has devastated Tiger Eye PI.
“But, as Anas has already said, the team won’t give up on its work in exposing corruption, the work will continue in honour of Ahmed.”
The police have commenced investigations in the matter.
The Madina Divisional Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Alex Asamoah Frimpong, told ‘The Don’ that: “Three bullets were found in his car. The body has been deposited at the police hospital and investigations have started.”
