The Clergy in Ketu North of the Volta Region have expressed their admiration and support for the Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The Clergy made up of pastors from towns in the Ketu North Constituency delivered a unifying statement in Dzodze on Wednesday saying "we, the Clergy, and the entire ecclesiastical body of Ketu North and its environs have made keen observations and followed you (Bawumia) closely in your work as Vice President of this country...The ecclesiastical body and the Clergy men and all of us here have observed that your personal lifestyle which is characterized by discipline is noticeable all the place. It is something we want to commend you for".

"You are one politician that cannot be tagged with the issue of corruption. When you go through the media or social media, you will never find anything that brings him into the arena of corruption...You're one politician who is full of vision . With you, it is possible", they added.

The Clergy continued; "Because of you, Ghana can pride itself of certain facilities that other countries don't dream of. Today, medications can be supplied through the use of drones. It doesn't matter the distance, we are able to do it. It only comes from a man who can dream; a man who can see possibilities. The things that others don't see, this man can see. We call you Mr. digitalization, bringing the impossible to be possible."

The Clergy further commended Dr. Bawumia for his work ethics, stating "you are a man of excellence. Anything you attempt to do, you do it with the excellence that it needs. If it will be done, it must be done well".

"The presence of the Clergy here should tell you that the atmosphere is already cleared. We are expecting that should the dream come through and you become the next President of Ghana, we believe that greater things will happen", the Pastors further remarked.
