Founder and Leader of The People’s Project (TPP), Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known in the media circles as A Plus is demanding for a nationally accepted structured plan which will ensure that any political party that comes into power will as a matter of law continue the good works of previous government.

According to A Plus, The People’s Project is a social group which consists of Ghanaians from diverse political parties who are seeking for policies which will benefit the entire citizenry.

”We want to organize every Ghanaian who believes that all of us, irrespective of our political affiliation must come together and draft a plan for this country”, he said.

He further said, “We don’t want a Ghana where NDC does a project, they go and NPP come, they leave and start a new one. We want a united Ghana where we will love each other mutually, support each other mutually, and help each other not because we are NPP or NDC, but because we are all Ghanaians”.

A Plus made this call when TPP donated wheelchairs to the Chief Imam to be distributed to persons with disabilities in Fadama on Friday, June 14, 2019.

The self-styled anti-corruption campaigner noted that, TPP aims at uniting Ghanaians irrespective of their political parties to transform the political agenda of authorities in the country, adding that, the group will also put politicians on their toes.

"We want to be able to hold the people accountable. We don’t want people to come to Fadama and say I gave you this so vote for me and when they get into power, they don’t come back. We want to start a new era where people promise in front of his Royal Highness, His Holiness and live by the promise by signing a paper,” he said.

He also urged the Chief Imam and other prominent people present to request for paper works from politicians who come to the community when elections are approaching to construct roads, hospitals, streetlights among other social amenities for them.

“Today, when the politician comes, sit them down, bring them to the chief. They have to sign a paper before the people that I am going to do this, if I don’t do this, this is what must happen” he stated.
