The New Patriotic Party has served notice it will not hesitate to cancel last-minute contract renewals of caterers of the School feeding program in the Eastern region, when the party assumes power on January 7.
Speaking to Starr News' Kojo Ansah, the Eastern regional 1st Vice Chairman of the party Alhaji Omar Bodinga explained that the party is reliably informed contracts of the caterers are being renewed for more years in the region, despite the NDC losing the 2016 polls.
According to him, the move is unacceptable considering the fact that, the caterers are mostly NDC women organizers and party faithful.
He accused the Eastern regional Minister Mavis Ama Frimpong of engaging in the renewal of the contracts.
He added that president-elect Nana Addo will review all contracts of the caterers and will not hesitate to nullify them if need be.
