Asante Kotoko have assured fans they will pay the US$ 240,000 FIFA fine before the 10 May, 2020 deadline to avoid being relegated from the Ghana top-flight.
The Porcupine Warriors were initially fined US$ 180,000 for illegally registering striker Emmanuel Clottey who was in the books of Esperance.
But the Ghanaian giants deferred in payment and the amount accrued an interest of US$ 45,000 and an extra US$ 15,000 to the committee which ruled on the matter.
According to a report by Kessben sports, the club's Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei has agreed to make full payment to Esperance.
In return, Kotoko will demand full payment of Kwame Bonsu's US$ 150,000 transfer fee.
