Administrative manager of Accra Hearts of Oak Hackman Aidoo has revealed no local coach has applied for the vacant position at their technical department.
Aidoo in reaction to rumours circulating in the local media that former Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is on the verge of taking over the coaching job at Hearts refuted the reports.
Aidoo who also doubles up as the accountant of the club stated, initially they were considering only one local coach, Yussif Abubakar but the latter eventually joined Aduana Stars.
“We were only considering one local coach, Yussif Abubakar but unfortunately he went to Aduana.”
All the applications we have received so far are from foreign coaches. We haven’t closed the application, but there is no local coach in there” Hackman told Kessben FM.
Assistant coach Henry Wilmington will lead the team to play Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the G6 tournament at the Baba Yara Stadium.
