Sustainable cloudy conditions over the entire country-Meteo

The Meteorological Service Department on Wednesday said the deep penetration of the moist south-westerly winds far inland would continue to sustain the cloudy conditions over the entire country. The Northern sector of the country including the northern fringes of the Brong-Ahafo region would experience an outbreak of severe thundery-showers this morning becoming bright and sunny in the afternoon.


The Department said elsewhere, it would remain fair with chances of few thundery-showers over the high grounds and forest regions of the middle belt and parts of the coastal. An early morning misty or foggy atmosphere is expected over the sheltered areas in the morning.

Maximum and minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Wednesday and 0600 on Thursday were given as: coastal areas, between 33 and 24 degrees Celsius, forest and mountainous areas, between 34 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 38 and 24 degrees Celsius.
