The weather will be variably cloudy with sunny intervals, becoming cloudy with thunderstorms and rain showers occurring mainly over the forest and hilly and northern sectors of the country in the afternoon, the Meteorological Service Department announced on Friday.

The coastal sector will also experience occasional rain showers over few areas. The night will be relatively cool over the forest and hilly areas.

Maximum and minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Friday and 0600 hours on Saturday were given as: coastal areas, between 32 and 25 degrees Celsius; forest and mountainous areas, between 33 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 35 and 25 degrees Celsius.
