West Africa to experience unstable weather condition - Meteo

The West African sub-region remains unstable as a rainstorm observed over Cotonou in Benin, continues to move steadily westward, the Meteorological Service Department said on Monday. It would therefore be cloudy over the country with isolated to scattered thunderstorm over northern Ghana and parts of Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions in the morning or in the afternoon.

However after the passage of the storm, the weather will be fairly stable with sunny intervals but the night will be cloudy with showers over the forest belt.

The rainstorm will induce cloudiness over the coastal belt in the morning but later becoming sunny in the afternoon with isolated thunderstorms over places.

The night would however be cloudy with rain showers or thunderstorms over several places especially over the western coast.

Maximum and minimum temperatures during the forecast period were given as: coastal areas, between 29 and 24 degrees Celsius; forest and mountainous areas, between 31 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 32 and 22 degrees Celsius.
