Accra, Jan. 18, GNA - The Registrar-General's Department said on Tuesday that following the declaration of Thursday as a public holiday, all marriages scheduled for that day have been called off.

Accra, Jan. 18, GNA - The Registrar-General's Department said on Tuesday that following the declaration of Thursday as a public holiday, all marriages scheduled for that day have been called off. A statement signed by Mr J.K. Harley, Chief State Attorney, said all those whose marriages were scheduled for that day should call on the Principal Registrar of Marriages to reschedule their wedding.
