Accra, Dec. 15, GNA - Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby, who is contesting the National Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is to undertake a nation-wide tour to visit newly elected executive committees in all the 230 constituencies in the country.
A statement issued in Accra on Monday said the first leg of the tour would begin on
Wednesday December 16 and cover 18 constituencies in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo
regions. It said the tour, dubbed "ADESRE KESEE", was intended to afford the opportunity for
Dr Wereko-Brobby to address four main objectives. These are formally informing the party's branches of his candidacy and congratulate the
executives on their successful election. He will share his vision for propelling the NPP to victory in 2012, to seek the support of
the constituency electors for his candidacy and to gain a first hand knowledge of the
challenges and opportunities for the party at the grassroots levels. The statement said the theme title and structure for the tour reflected Dr. Wereko-
Brobby's conviction that; "those who seek to lead must go to the homes of those whose
mandate they want to put their request to them in person and the NPP's electoral success in
2012 will be delivered on a platform built on the solid foundations of the party's strengths,
commitment and unity of purpose at the grassroots levels".
