The Vice President, Professor John Atta Mills, has asked churches to campaign vigorously against social and economic evils, which continue to plaque the nation. The Vice President referred to the canker of embezzlement of large sums of state money, economic sabotage and teenage pregnancy among others. Professor Mills was speaking at the Fifth Partners In-Mission consultation and provincial synod of the Anglican Church in West Africa in Accra. The Vice President also called on churches to complement government effort for good governance since the church and the state comprise the body politic of every nation. The theme for the consultation was "Bear Ye One Another's Burden". The conference held every three years aimed at forging a spirit of unity among the Anglican Partner-Churches world-wide. End
