West Ham star Jarrod Bowen hails 'perfect' timing of Kudus' goal in win over Ipswich

West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen has praised Mohammed Kudus for his crucial goal in their 4-1 win over Ipswich Town in the English Premier League.

The Ghana star's first goal of the season came at a key moment, helping the Hammers secure their first home win of the campaign after a disappointing start.

Kudus, who had faced criticism following a reported clash with manager Julen Lopetegui during a previous match, scored West Ham’s second goal just before halftime.

Reacting quickly to a rebound off the crossbar, he headed home to give his side a 2-1 lead.

Bowen, who also found the back of the net, acknowledged the importance of Kudus’ goal, stating, “Mo scored at the perfect time because 1-1 is always a dangerous scoreline. We spoke at half-time about getting the next goal and putting the game to bed.”

The victory over Ipswich, coupled with strong performances from Michail Antonio and Lucas Paquetá, provided a much-needed boost for West Ham as they aim to improve their form this season.
