What Does Busia Want?

WHAT DOES FREMA BUSIA WANT?...has she returned government properties she stole?...who is shielding her from prosecution?

Daily Post intelligence has been hinted of a purported press conference at the Ministry of the Interior today to be addressed by Miss Frema Busia, the daughter of UP/ NPP political godfather, Dr. K.A Busia.

Although the purpose of the conference has not been disclosed to our sources, it is believed to be the handwork of NPP mavericks and some faceless agents in the corridors of power to try to shield her and use her for their parochial interest in the face of overwhelming evidence of theft against her whilst the NPP was in government.

While the intelligence said they have nothing again the holding of the conference, they are not enthused that certain power brokers in the NDC are prepared to offer her comfort at the government ministry conference room to roll out whatever she claims to be on her mind. But as stated by our intelligence, Frema has been trying unsuccessfully to warm her way into the heart and mind of the NDC government. The latest twit is indicative of the propaganda of certain opportunists who would want to use her for their selfish motives.

According to our our intelligence sources , Frema Busia does not deserve any preferential treatment if her record used by the NPP to prosecute NDC officials is to be carefully analyzed.

Daily Post intelligence sources who are not happy have discovered that there are certain top guns in the NDC who are not very comfortable with the attempt to glorify Frema Busia and provide her with all the necessary facilities in the midst of the evil things that she did against NDC functionaries, including the late Victor Selormey.

They are fuming at the thought that certain unscrupulous elements in the NDC want to use Frema to gain some political coverage in the midst of overwhelming evidence that she and others formed the so-called vicious forensic audit which produced the cooked evidence used to send NDC officials to jail.

In articulating their position, the intelligence hinted that any attempt to allow Frema to use the government ministry for a private press conference could create credibility problems for the NDC government.

The intelligence sources opined that but for the defeat of the NPP in 2008, only God knows what would have happened to Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Sherry Ayittey and Emmanuel Agbodo among others who were deliberately framed by Frema and his gang in her attempt to push her father's legacy and that of the UP above that of Nkrumah and Jerry Rawlings.

The sources further said if indeed it is time that some elements in the NDC government are providing cover for Frema for whatever ulterior motives, then they should know they are doing so at their own peril.

“She has mastered blackmail and the NDC better watch out before providing her with state cover and facilities in a bid to roll out whatever agenda she has.” our intelligence source added.

In this trying moments, according to the intelligence, of attempts by hired international gangs to destroy the NDC , one wonders why an NDC government would want to glorify vindictive politicians whose children continue to hate Nkrumah and Rawlings with passion for the sake of gaining an ideological advantage.

Indeed, Frema benefited immensely form the NPP and the Kufuor government through patronage and familial connections to the point of taking away state properties and deserves nothing other than prosecution. Nobody should buy into her long boring lectures on human rights. We hope that the issue of using the Interior ministry is not true!
