The capital city of the United Kingdom, London, was vibrant with the culture of the GaDangme people of Ghana last week.
On October 26, 2024, the Ga Traditional Council, in collaboration with GaDangme UK & Ireland, hosted the Grand Homowo UK Festival 2024, showcasing the rich heritage of the GaDangme culture to the world.
The event featured the attendance of queen mothers and chiefs from the Ga Traditional Council, including the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, and the Paramount Chief of Sempe, Mantse Nii Adote Otintor II.
Ghanaian billionaire and businessman Daniel McKorley, popularly known as McDan, was also present, along with numerous other distinguished Ghanaians.
Visuals from the event captured the Ga Mantse's grand entrance, accompanied by singing, drumming, and dancing.
Following a powerful speech, the Ga Mantse offered a heartfelt prayer for GaDangme people around the globe.
The streets of London were filled with attendees adorned in traditional Ga apparel.
