Dr. Daniel McKorley, Executive Chairman of McDan Group
Daniel McKorley, founder and chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, has advised Ghanaians to seek the face of God every morning before embarking on their daily journey.
According to him, doing so will bring about a successful day.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, he said, "When the God factor plays a role, nothing will go wrong. Every morning, we have to seek the face of God first; whatever we touch, we pray for a humble heart and a guided step from God. When you wake up in the morning, make sure your steps are humble."
He admonished that, regardless of an individual's wealth or status, they must pray to God for a humble and kind heart.
"No matter how rich you are, no matter how high you are, no matter who you are, always pray for God to give you a humble heart and a kind heart," he advised.
He said that one's ability to survive in this country depends on having a kind and generous heart.
McDan urged Ghanaians to seek divine guidance and direction daily so that their actions would not be perceived as arrogant or offend people who are beneath them.
He stated, "To live and survive in this country, you must have a heart of gold. What happens to you daily? You need divine guidance and direction so that you will not be seen as arrogant. You will not be seen treading over people who are less than you. You must be a team player. That is what I stand for; these are my values."
Daniel McKorley, popularly known as McDan, revealed that he was raised by a poor charcoal seller who instilled in him God-fearing values and taught him to be humble.
"I was trained by a poor, illiterate charcoal seller, so these were the values my mother gave me to be humble."
