Ghana's Embassy in Doha has appealed to Ghanaians who have been affected by Qatar’s airspace closure and the suspension of regular commercial flights to urgently provide their travel information to the mission.
In a statement issued on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the embassy explained that the appeal follows directives from Qatari authorities after disruptions to flight operations.
Ghanaians holding valid tickets with Qatar Airways who are either in transit in Doha or residing in the country awaiting departure are requested to submit their details to the Embassy.

The embassy also noted that the information provided will allow it to liaise with relevant authorities to coordinate travel arrangements and assist citizens in departing Doha as soon as possible.
