The Leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has criticised what he describes as hypocrisy in public reactions to tragedies mostly involving religious leaders.

His comments follow the death of the two sons of the Hebron Prayer Camp leader in a tragic helicopter crash at Tema Community One.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page on March 23, 2026, Nigel Gaisie said he was moved after watching Elder Donkor speak at the Hebron Prayer Camp, as well as after the public reactions that followed.

“Watching the speech of Elder Donkor at Hebron Prayer Camp, who lost his two sons in a recent plane crash. When his two sons die, they are gone to God,” he said.

He, however, highlighted what he described as a stark contrast in how the public has reacted to the Hebron leader’s situation compared to similar incidents involving other men of God.

According to him, when similar tragedies befell other men of God who lost their children, the public made disparaging remarks about their situations.

“When Rev Eastwood lost his two children in an accident, it was a disaster. When Prophet Dr Badu Kobi lost his son, that one dierr 'he has used his son for rituals,’” he stated.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie slammed what he described as a hypocritical tendency, indicating that many men of God are often hated by their own people.

“What a world of people we have. What a hypocritical world, indeed the prophets are TRUELY HATED BY THEIR OWN..,” he added.

The outspoken prophet also condemned a recent attack on the church of Prophet Fire Oja, describing the act as unacceptable.

“Again, I condemn with the highest level of force, what the unguided and unscrupulous masked men went to do at Prophet Fire Oja's' church. I call on the Ghana police to arrest them, Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs should act because, Ghana is not a jungle,” he stated.

According to him, such acts point to growing intolerance and hostility towards prophetic ministries in the country.

“Moreso, if not a private hate and interest against the prophetic ministry, no sensible person must attack a man/woman of God behind the pulpit, you can wait or at best go to Court. ENOUGH OF THE DISRESPECT AGAINST THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY IN GHANA....ENOUGH," he indicated.

He concluded by calling for unity and peaceful coexistence among Ghanaians.

“We are one people, lets live in peace, dignity and love,” he stressed.
