On Saturday, January 4, 2025, Aggie, an 82-year-old woman, captured the hearts of many when she joined the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) Victory Walk to celebrate the party's decisive win in the 2024 general elections.

The atmosphere was filled with celebration and anticipation, as NDC supporters looked forward to a new chapter in Ghana's political history.

In an interview with GhanaWeb TV, Aggie shared her reasons for participating in the event.

She expressed optimism that President-elect John Dramani Mahama would lead the country toward recovery and prosperity.

"I have lived long enough to know the difference. The Akufo-Addo-led government completely exhausted Ghanaians, leaving many in despair. That is why I joined the Victory Walk. I believe John Dramani Mahama will reset the country and restore hope," she said.

The Victory Walk set the tone for the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of President-elect John Dramani Mahama and Vice President-elect Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, scheduled for January 7, 2025, at the Black Star Square.
