Angered by the failure on the part of the fetish priest to give her back her money, Boakyewaa on Saturday October 6 at about 12pm hired the 10 macho men from Nima in Accra to Akooko near Tafo to beat up the fetish priest and take back her money.

DCOP Gyamerah-Yeboah explained further that Akua Boagyewaa and the armed macho men who drove to Akooko in a charted Hyundai H200 with registration number GS 51 98-12 unfortunately did not meet the fetish priest but met his linguist whom they tortured with cutlasses .

Some of the residents in the area who witness the incident informed the police who rushed to the scene and arrested the Boakyewaa and the 10 macho men.

DCOP Gyamerah-Yeboah told the Times the suspect would be charged for robbery and put before court.

He however advise Ghanaians to desist from sending monies to fetish priests and asking them to double it for them saying that ‘there is nothing like doubling monies’ adding that ‘this would help to prevent incidents such as that of Boakyewaa’.
