Woman busted for cocaine not my relative – Kufuor

Felicia Kufour who together with 10 others was recently sentenced to a combined prison term of 139 years for drug related offences in the United Kingdom (UK) is not related to former President John Agyekum Kufuor, the office of the former president has said.

Several social media posts have linked the embattled lady to the former President with some describing her as Mr Kufuor’s niece because of similarities in their surnames.

But a statement from the office of the former President has denied Mr Kufuor has any family ties with Felicia Kufuor.

“The former president wants to make it known to all and sundry that that individual is not known to him and is no niece or relative of his,” Senior Aide to Mr Kufuor, said in a statement.
