Work on rehabilitation of Bogoso road to begin soon

Bogoso (WR), Dec. 21, GNA - Mr Albert Kwaku Obbin, Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni Valley has cut the sod for work to begin on rehabilitation of a two-kilometre road at Bogoso. The project expected to be completed within a year is estimated at 46,000 Ghana cedis. Mr Obbin said it was Government's policy to annually tar 15 kilometres of road in every metropolitan, municipal or district. He said the project would be undertaken in phases and appealed to the people to vote for the NPP in the run-off to enable it continue with the country's development. Nana Kwasi Somprey, Chief of Kookooase appealed to the contractor, Mark Ernest Company Limited, to employ some of the youth in the town and ensure good work was done to prolong its life span.
