The New Patriotic Party in the Yilo Krobo of the Eastern region is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to secure a minimum of 52% for the party come 2020 elections, constituency party chairman, Dr Gabriel Odeh Apotey has resolved during the Constituency Stakeholders Meeting at Somanya.

Dr. Apotey while declaring that "a new chapter has been opened" in the Yilo Krobo NPP said targeting 52% at each polling station ahead of next year's elections was the surest way to win both Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the constituency.

“What we’re emphasizing is the fact that come December, 2020, NPP Yilo Krobo constituency will be the second [in Dangbe speaking areas] apart from the Upper Manya Krobo constituency to annex the seat,” said the Party Chairman. “As for the Presidential, the margin of victory will be big.”

The declaration was made on Sunday, 10th November 2019 during the party's stakeholders meeting at the E.J.A. Tettey-Enyo Hall of the Methodist Church at Somanya.

He expressed his readiness to support the parliamentary candidate of the party and urged him to bring all and sundry on board to support his parliamentary bid.
