About seven months ago Yonso Vision was inaugurated at Columbus, Ohio and one of their objectives is to give little hope to school children in Yonso, and they have made good of their promise.

At a beautiful ceremony at Yonso on April 15, 2011, Yonso Vision presented 182 chairs and 182 tables to Yonso Junior High School students. With this, every student will get an opportunity to sit on a brand new table and chair. This decision was made when two members of the group visited home to access the needs of the school. The report that came back was not encouraging, students have to put their papers on the wall and write during examination because teachers don’t want them to copy from each other, they share tables and chairs, many of them were not in good condition. With this report, Yonso Vision held a special meeting to raise funds to assist the school; they were able to come up with $3,613.00 (three thousand six hundred and thirteen) covering the cost of 182 chairs and 182 tables

Presenting the chairs and tables on behalf of Yonso Vision, Mr. D.S. Baah, retired Education Director advised the students to take their books seriously and make good use of the tables and chairs. Representatives from churches like Seventh Day Adventist and Methodist came to grace the occasion. TV3 and Hello FM covered the event.

The donation came from these members who are working hard for the group, William Agyemang (GA), Charles Buckman (NJ), Sampson Nuro (OH), James Adu (OH), Baffour Agyemang (NY), Osei Agyemang (CT), Margaret Sefa (NJ), Grace Donkor (NJ), Augustina Yeboah (MA), Dr. Yaw Yeboah (PA), Esther Keels (NJ) Ellen Oppong (NJ), Mercy Buabeng (NJ), Gifty Manu (MD), Mary Donkor (NY), Constance Nuro (NJ), Gifty Boateng (IN), Irene Bediako (OH), and Asiamah Adonteng (Canada) Yonso Vision is going to hold a special Fund Raising in New Jersey on September 03, 2011, to raise funds for their long-term projects for Yonso and its surrounding areas.
