President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed confidence in Ghana’s boxing icon, Isaac Dogboe, to bounce back stronger after Dogbe lost his WBO Super Bantamweight title to Mexican Emmanuel Navarette in the United States of America on Sunday morning.
Dogboe who until now had gone 20 fights without defeat lasted the entire 12 rounds.
By unanimous decision, all the 3 judges scored the bout in favour of the Mexican.
In a tweet, Nana Akufo-Addo encouraged Dogbe to keep his head up.
“Better luck next time to the Royal Storm, Isaac Dogboe. I am confident you’ll bounce back even stronger. Keep your head up,” Mr Akufo-Addo tweeted.

Dogbe after failing to defend his title said he will take a break, regroup and aim to come back to the top again.
