Your government has been available in every sector of the economy - Maa Lydia tells Ayawaso West

The Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, has asked constituents to vote to keep the incumbent party in power.

She said this is because the government has delivered in every aspect of the economy, ranging from health, education, road infrastructure, etc.

Speaking during a campus tour at the University of Ghana on November 29, 2024, with Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, the sanitation minister recounted some of the projects her government has embarked on in the past four years.

This includes a soon-to-be commissioned Senior High School on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Maa Lydia, as she is popularly called said: "Let's look at health, Agenda 111 across this country, we have been a beneficiary. We have ours just close by. In this constituency, within these four years, we have been able to add seven new schools. It shows how important education is to this government.

"And for me, what makes it for me is how in this constituency we did not have a single Senior High School until Monday when your president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is commissioning the first ever secondary school in this constituency," she added.

The MP seeking another term in office added "We have our roads, look around you. The network is excellent. Dr. Bawumia has been at the forefront of all this."
