Youth asked to eschew licentiousness

Accra, April 13, GNA - The Founder and President of the Manna Mission Church, the Reverend Dr Seth Ablor has appealed to the youth to eschew licentiousness and all forms of immorality that might affect their development.

He said the nation was looking up to the youth for the protection and preservation of its values and heritage.

Rev. Dr Ablor made the appeal at a non-denominational church service organised by the Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF), at the University of Ghana, Legon, on Easter Sunday.

He cautioned Christians against amassing material wealth at the expense of their moral and spiritual development.

Rev. Dr Ablor regretted that some people had ordained themselves as prophets and prophetesses and were peddling false prophecies and lies, adding, "It is dangerous to lie with the name of the Lord".

Rev. Dr Ablor cautioned Ghanaians against sexual promiscuity to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS and reminded the public that the was no known cure to the disease.

He appealed to the public to undertake voluntary test for HIV/ADID adding that improvement in medical science has made it possible to use saliva for the test.
