Some aggrieved youth of Manso Adimposo in the Ashanti Region have besieged the local police station in the area with the coffin of a 20-year-old man who died in a recent accident, demanding the arrest and prosecution of the driver involved.

The deceased, whose identity is yet to be made public, reportedly lost his life after being knocked down by a vehicle under circumstances the youth believe were deliberate.

They allege that despite their reports, the police have failed to apprehend the driver, sparking widespread anger in the community.

In a viral video shared on X by user SikaOfficial on December 3, 2025, scores of young men were seen carrying the coffin and chanting as they massed up at the police station.

The group sang loudly and demonstrated aggressively, insisting that their action was meant to compel the police to act.

The tense standoff drew attention from passersby, as some officers remained indoors while others attempted to restore calm.

Police have not yet issued an official statement on the incident or the status of investigations.
