Aduana Stars midfielder Zakaria Mumuni is excited to have made his Black Stars mark in a 1-1 drawn game at home to Benin in an international friendly.
The Dormaa based pass master starred across the early part of the season to earn his place in the finest players assembled by Kwesi Appiah.
The former WAFA SC midfield icon could not hide his excitement after making his international debut in the Black Stars ‘B’ at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
The stylish midfielder credited his team mate and technical staff for his national invite and pledged to keep his current form as he progresses into the mainstream Black Stars .
“As a team game I couldn’t have gotten a call up in the first place if my colleagues didn’t help me out.
“I think it has been a super season on a personal level and to have gotten a call up into the national team in the first team , I think I must thank my team mates and the coaches.
“It is an excitement I cannot hide and I think it is only normal for me to continue dreaming”, Zakaria told Sports Crusader.
The midfielder has been tipped to blossom into one of the finest players to have graced the Ghana premier league having graduated from the WAFA academy.
