Bullet, artiste Manager for sensational musician Ebony, has said the allegation that it was going to take $100,000 to get late Ebony off his record-label Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc. was, to say the least, ridiculous and insulting.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Bullet said while it wouldn’t have been a problem for him to part ways amicably with the artiste without money, to quantify her brand and his whole effort as $100,000 was an insult to Ebony’s brand and to the investment Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch put into their golden Queen, Ebony.
“Can $100,000 feed me?”, he quizzed on Abeiku Santana’s Ekwansodwodwoo show on Okay FM. “$100,000 for Ebony, is she that cheap… is $100,000 money? How much is $100,000?… What do they mean by bailout?”, he asked.
He mentioned that deals they just signed with Kasapreko was way more than even $200,000 and world-renowned Akon music icon was in the process of talks involving a huge amount of money to sign Ebony.
Bullet, who couldn’t hide his fury about comments that “even after 20 years he wouldn’t be making that big money from Ebony”, asked whether “those people truly respect the brand of Ebony”
