World Cup-bound Ghana were today thrashed 3-0 by French Ligue 1 club Nice. The Ghanian side featured several untried players including first timers Derek Asamoah and Junior Agogo.
The French side took the lead in the 10th minute through de Vahirua. The match remained reasonably tight, although Ghana's peformance was not helped by a flood of substitutions, which were made throughout the game.
Nice finished Ghana off in the second half with two more goals from Bisconti (67min) and Roudet (75min)
The defeat will not help coach Ratomir Dujkovic in his squad selection which is due before the 15th of May. Ghana still have 3 friendlies scheduled before the World Cup in which Dujkovic will be looking for a huge improvement if the Black Stars are to hope to progress from group E, one of the toughest in the tournament.
