Accra, May 23, GNA - The Chinese Premier, Mr Wen Jaibao would pay an official visit to Ghana from June 18 to June 19 2006, Mr Andrew Awuni, Press Secretary to the President, announced on Tuesday.

This would be his first visit to Ghana during which he would hold bilateral talks with President John Agyekum Kufuor, inaugurate the Accra - Nsawam road, attend a State dinner in his honour and meet with Chinese nationals.

The second invitation is to serve as Guest Speaker at the opening ceremony of the Wiberforce Institute for the Study of Slavery and Emancipation at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom on July 6 2006.
