Sunyani, June 29, GNA - The Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman of the Atta Mills Fan Club, Mr Kwabena Amo-Badu, has urged all bodies formed in the name of Vice-President John Evans Atta Mills to form one club and campaign for a massive win for him in this year's presidential election.
In a statement issued to the Ghana News Agency at Sunyani, Mr Amo-Badu mentioned the Atta Mills Fan Club, Atta Mills Brotherhood, Atta Mills Society, Friends of Atta Mills and Past Students of Atta Mills, among others, as bodies currently championing the cause of the Vice-President.
"Since the main aim of these clubs is to win more converts for the National Democratic Congress and canvass for Professor Mills, it is prudent for all of us to come together and rally behind him to win massively during the elections," he said.
Mr Amo-Badu, therefore, called for a special meeting in Accra of leaders of all the various clubs to work out modalities for their immediate amalgamation.
