Accra, July 4, GNA - The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has cautioned the public against any hasty comments on the arrest of ace musician Dasebre Dwamena in Britain for an alleged drug related offence. A statement signed by Alhaji Sidiku Buari, President of the Union called for circumspection and caution over the issue since the case was still being investigated.
Alhaji Buari said he personally knew Dasebre to be a quiet and reserved person but not as a drug dealer.
He said whatever the case might be the public should exercise restraint and consider Dasebre Dwamena as an individual and desist from roping in the entire music fraternity into the alleged crime since musicians were generally law abiding and responsible.
