Accra, July 25, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange inched up in quiet trading on Tuesday with only two equities making movements.
The GSE All-Share Index, the main stock index, went up by 0.59 points to 4,891.69 points from 4,891.10 points.
Change for the year to date was 2.57 per cent from 2.56 per cent. There were two price changes, both positive.
ECOBANK was up 11 cedis at 11,561 cedis while Enterprise Insurance Comapany gained two cedis at 8,130 cedis.
Total shares traded slumped to 53,600 from 105,500 on Monday but market capitalisation was better at 97,242.48 billion cedis from 97,240.66 billion cedis.
