GCAA gets four vehicles

Accra, Nov. 14, GNA - The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has acquired a fire tender and runway sweeper for its operations at the Kotoka International Airport.

Inaugurating the basic equipment and two mini-buses on Tuesday, Dr Kwabena Richardson, Board Chairman of GCAA, stressed the need to ensure safety in all organisations.

He said it was of absolute importance that every effort was put into ensuring that safety was not compromised.

Mr Simon Allotey, Head of Technical Division of GCAA, said such equipment were crucial to the growth of GCAA adding that it was important that basic equipment was made available to ensure that GCAA became an aviation hub in the West Africa Sub-Region.
