Sankore B/A, Dec. 18, GNA - Four persons died on the spot including a five-year old child and 11 sustained various degree of injuries when a KIA truck loaded with 103 bags of cocoa was involved in an accident at Nyamebekyere in Asunafo District of Brong-ahafo region.
The KIA truck, with registration number GE 4087 S which somersaulted three times and came to rest with its tyres pointed to the sky was coming from Motopreso to Sankore.
The dead bodies had been deposited at the Goaso government hospital, while those who sustained serious injuries had been transferred to Brong-Ahafo regional hospital in Sunyani responding treatment.
One of the Victims, Emmanuel Afriyie told the Ghana News Agency at Goaso that the driver lost control on reaching a section of the road after refusing to heed several calls of the passengers to limit the speed.
